Homecoming Redux

Oi, it's good to be back on the side of the planet where narcissism is naked. Without the trappings of judeochrislam we get to see it for what it is: simple animal nature. No "god says" BS here. Shocking competitiveness, plenty of unthinking theft and uncaring injury but no deity gets credit or blame. Rarely at any rate.

The blessed corollary is that spirituality isn't dirty. Earthy perhaps, animism runs rather rife, but higher callings are just that. The word of god is difficult to pervert when no one claims sole ownership. Clergies are not pressed to excuse the rich and powerful; the latter are well enough equipped, the former can afford to speak truths: god does not hate the disenfranchised. Humility and altruism can be religiously inspired if you like but that's optional. Pragmatism is handy in case you hadn't heard. Greed is never Good. Favoring your family, taking care of your cohort, this is natural. Ascribing that to the word of god is sin.

Finished Mom's latest. A Dynamic God, check it out. That woman's a fearsome intellectual if I may say so (wikipedia said I may not). But the dual doctorates obviate any need. Good thing too, I don't want to wax on much here since it might be my foot in the door. Yo publishers, I'm not above trading on my name! Seriously though (or more so), this was the first of hers I tore through fast enough not to interleave (besides a few magazines). OTOH it is also her first solely on our shared bailiwick. Or maybe it has to do with it's relative slimness. Or all the airplaning. Could be she KIS for us S. Whichever, it better be an important book. I may disagree a bit (want details make offer :P) but I also hope people can listen. She's a damned sight gentler than I and maybe that's appropriate.

Me, my patience is well exhausted. And my argument is very nearly complete. I understand I've been mainly preaching to the choir but I hope I've given you some fun phraseology and silly syllogisms. 'Judeochrislam' is a perfectly accurate term and it is objectively an abject failure (anything less than 5% is noise - who said 'the degree of precision has just been outweighed by the margin of error'? Yeah yeah, yours truly, once again too bad so sad for 'Aphorisms'). The 'tri-partite crock of abrahamic bullshit' is identically precise but perhaps a slightly harder sell. What matter, it certainly rolls off the tongue. Please do use it as appropriate but please also cite yours truly, any buck I can make as a polemicist is one less I'll be forced to earn as an English teacher. Really, who wants that? Imagine a bunch of furriners psychologically incapable of grasping 'the' importance of 'an' (in)definite article blindly bandying asinine assonance. Save us all, buy into my book or stop by the personal site and request a record. Future generations of linguists may thank you for stopping me before I spread the word on the fine line between facility and felicity. Enough aggravating aggrandizement? Back to the godstone then. Or the Saul mines... is your patience exhausted yet?

and then there's me lad heard from. What, you may ask? Why hope then? Well, he's only 5. And this keyboard lacks his alphabet. Not that he has the hundred characters memorized yet. But ask yourself: where did he find that omega? Asking meself I am, I could use it if I knew. And hoping. Look to the children. Hokey? Hackneyed? Cliched? Why not, very little is new under the son. And I accept the arguments against breeding, multifarious and not all nefarious. But if life must find a way we're in it. Good to see a few friends, the folks and my sister's family; good to reacquaint myself with the term 'naive egocentric catastrophism' too. It's important. And it has as much to do with monotheism as anything else in the disaster.
